AML/CTF & KYC Policy

AML/CTF & KYC Policy

The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy is aimed at detecting illegal transactions related to terrorist financing, money laundering, and other unlawful activities. LetsChange adheres to the principles of preventing financial crimes and monitors transactions to identify potential risks.

We use the advanced AML analyzer Rapira to assess transactions and determine their risk score. The analysis results affect subsequent transaction processing and include evaluating risk zones as well as examining the wallet’s connection history with illegitimate services or addresses on the blockchain.

In some cases, the receiving platform (exchange) may conduct additional transaction analysis. Based on this review, it may suspend the processing of a transaction and request identity verification, even if the initial address screening did not indicate risk.

Verification Procedure

If a transaction fails AML screening, it may be suspended, and the user will be required to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process. The materials required for verification include:

• A video selfie holding a passport.

• The service may request a secondary document (e.g., a bank statement or utility bill issued within the last 3 months) to confirm the user’s residential address.

• The service also reserves the right to request proof of funds origin or any additional supporting documents necessary to complete the review.

The verification process may take from 3 to 15 business days, depending on the complexity of the case.

Refund Policy

Refunds are processed in accordance with the results of the AML review. For AML-related cases, a refund fee of up to 5% of the blocked amount may apply, but not exceeding the equivalent of $100.

For clients who have successfully completed KYC/SoF (Source of Funds verification) and were not identified as involved in money laundering, only the blockchain network fee will be charged.

Bank Transfers

When paying by bank card, the user must complete mandatory verification as required by the service.

The sender and recipient of the payment under the application must be the same individual. Transfers to third parties are strictly prohibited.

The contact information and other personal data provided by the user in the application must be accurate and up to date.

Personal Data Processing

LetsChange collects and processes personal data in strict compliance with applicable laws and KYC/AML requirements. To ensure data security, LetsChange applies advanced security technologies.

The detailed policy for personal data processing, storage, and protection measures is described in the Privacy Policy.
